Where is Octocon 2026 Venue?

On the weekend of 3rd and 4th of October 2026, we’re heading to the Clayton Hotel Cork City, centrally located on Lapp’s Quay and convenient for public transport. We will also continue our tradition of holding Octocon both in-person and online – both days!

Our hotel is located right in the heart of Cork city, with easy access to Cork airport, the train and bus station. It is also easily accessible from Dublin and Limerick.

Parking is available at Lapps Quay Public Car Park for hotel residents at a preferential parking rate of €12.00 per night for a 24 hours period on a single entry basis. A charge of €3.00 per hour applies thereafter.

Access to Lapps Quay Public Car Park is on Oliver Plunkett Street Lower, T12 C2C1.

Hotel rates

We have arranged a convention rate for a limited number of rooms at the Clayton Hotel Cork City.

Nightly Rates:

• Friday 2nd October – €206 per single; €222 per twin/double room per night
• Saturday 3rd October – €206 per single; €222 per twin/double room per night
• Sunday 4th October – €160 per single; €176 per twin/double room per night

Rates include Bed & Breakfast, complimentary WiFi and use of Leisure Club facilities.

A credit card will be required to secure all bookings.

Note that you can only reserve Friday-Sunday nights with the Promo Code. Extending your stay at the hotel will require a separate booking.
